Marriages really should come in smaller doses. Like if you opted for a ten-year marriage instead of the old ‘forever’ one. Surely it’s much more sensible, seeing as so many marriages end in messy divorces? Also if you want to stay married wouldn’t it mean more to you and your partner if you renewed your vows? instead of just feeling that sense of obligation because you took a vow that was supposed to last until death.
