Day 13 - A moment that makes you sad/cry

1. Balinor’s Death in: The Last Dragonlord (Season 2, Episode 13)

It was the fact that Merlin had just found out who his father was, and given someone who would love him for who he really was. And then have that taken away after they’d both had so little time together. I know this needed to happen in order for Merlin’s character to grow in that he drew up the courage to face Kilgarrah, but it doesn’t take away how heartbreaking it all is, especially as he has to hide his grief. AND THAT WOODEN DRAGON MY GOSH THE TEARS.

2. Lancelot’s Funeral in: Lancelot Du Lac (Season 4, Episode 9)

This whole episode was so emotional, especially the fact that it wasn’t really Lancelot who had come back, we were all hoping he’d return but he didn’t really, just his body did. Then the whole Arthur/Gwen scene was intense, and so beautiful, then the whole thing just goes from intensity to Merlin bringing the real Lancelot back, just for a second, and then we know Lancelot is really at rest, we have some finality. This just makes his death really hit home and I am personally reduced to a blubbering mess every time.
